The Second International Wound Management Conference in Qatar will be held from 23 to 25 November 2017 at the Qatar National Convention Center.
This conference will bring together healthcare professionals involved in wound care management (research, policy, practice and business) and allow delegates to share best practice as well as learn from a host of renowned speakers.

Call for AbstractsThe organizing committee of the conference is pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. Abstracts should be directly relevant to one of the five main topic areas and should include the innovation of interest:
- Diabetic foot
- Ulcers
- Clinical cases
- Trauma
- Patient Reported Outcomes (PROMS)
Presenters should consider the following two key questions:
1) What is the innovation being addressed in your presentation
2) How is it different from previous practice. Of what scientific benefit it is to enhance wound management?
Interested presenters should submit an abstract between 250 to 300 words in English, to:
qiwmc@hamad.qa. Abstracts should only address one of the above noted topics.
- In your submission, please indicate your preference: oral presentation or poster presentation
- Abstracts should not exceed 300 words
- All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed by members of the scientific committee
- It is the responsibility of the presenting author to communicate with his/her co-authors
Abstract timeline:
- August and September 2017 – Call for abstracts open
- 30 September 2017 – Deadline for submission of abstracts
- 10 October 2017 – Abstract decision letters notification
