Ms. Joanna is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 2006, in Mary Chiles College, Philippines. She became a registered nurse in 2006 in the Philippines and has an active Saudi Council and Qatar Council license. She has 11 years of practical experience in nursing, initially in critical care then specialized practice in wound management, in both hospital and community settings. She has attended professional development courses in Wound Management and Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Management endorsed by Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA). She has completed continuing education related to foot and nail care provided by the web WOC Continuing Education Program. She has also an organizing committee member for the Qatar First International Wound Management Conference in 2016.
In her past work experience she has received certificates of appreciation for her outstanding support and tremendous contribution as a member of the “Care of Patient” (COP) team.
She is currently pursuing her nursing career by undergoing postgraduate degree program. She is involved in an ongoing project in her organization to help frontline nurses to properly managed wounds.
