Mohamed Anwar is a Senior Legal Counsel at Hamad Medical Corporation. He previously served as a Corporate Legal Counsel in Ishraq Dubai LLC - a portfolio company and a majority owned subsidiary of Dubai International Capital (DIC) that focused on MENA Infrastructure Projects on limited brand.
In his current role, Anwar provides expert legal advice on both strategic and service oriented projects in HMC to maintain a high class hospital-patient setting environment. He has also assumed various memberships in major panel discussions on medico-legal practice in Qatar including the Indian Medical Association as well as a speaker at the Weill-Cornel Medical College-Qatar.
He is a graduate of Hertfordshire Law School in the UK. He also holds a post-graduate diploma in medical law and comes with extensive experience in handing medico-legal issues in HMC which manages 10 hospitals - seven specialist hospitals and three community hospitals – as well as the National Ambulance Service and home and residential care services.
