Mr. Mohammed Shafi joined Hamad Medical Corporation in 2004. He is the Head of the Physiotherapy and Lymphedema Department at NCCCR. He graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and specialized in Level 4 Cancer Rehabilitation from the Wright Foundation in the United Kingdom. He is a certified Lymphedema Therapist from Colorado in the United States of America by the Klose Training Centre. He underwent advanced and review courses in Head and Neck Lymphedema Management from Hinterzarten, Germany. He is also a certified cancer exercise trainer from the American College of Sports Medicine. He is a core member of Qatar National Breast Tumor Board at the Ministry of Public Health, as a Lymphedema Specialist and member of the breast multidisciplinary team and head and neck multidisciplinary team at HMC. He is a key person in establishing the first lymphedema clinic within Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He has been invited as a speaker in many conferences regional and International.
