Mr. Khalil is the Head of Hospital Infection Control at the Communicable Disease Center (CDC) in HMC. He has graduated as a registered nurse in Lebanon and started his career as a staff nurse in the Coronary Care Unit in Hammoud Hospital Medical University Center. He then worked as a charge nurse in the CCU. After this time he held the post of Infection Control and Occupational Safety Officer. Mr. Khalil has more than 10 years of experience in infection prevention and control. Currently he is finishing his Master Degree in Public Health and Epidemiology at Qatar University. Mr. Khalil had a vital role in establishing the infection prevention and control program at Al Wakra Hospital before he joined the CDC. In addition, he has a vital role in planning for a major incident planes in case of a biological outbreak in the CDC.
