Dr. Shaimaa Arroub is currently leading the Endocrine Transplant team at Hamad Medical Corporation, which includes the Islet cells program & post organs transplant endocrine care.

In 2018, Dr. Arroub completed her fellowship program in endocrinology & diabetes at Hamad General Hospital. Dr. Arroub has gained a special interest in Diabetes care. 

Previously she graduated from Dubai Medical Collage –U.A.E. she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation in 2015, and obtained her Arab Board of Health Specializations certification.  She completed a postgraduate diploma in Diabetes in Jan 2018 from St George’s University- London. 

She is participating in various related research projects; her latest research involvement is studying genetics causes of diabetes in Qatar. She had participated several times in community education about diabetes.  Dr. Arroub is committed to making a significant contribution to Qatar’s health community; her aim is to have a major impact on patient care in order to develop a healthier more vibrant life in her community.
