Dr. Haitham El Bardisi

Dr Haitham graduated from medical school in Cairo University, Egypt in 1996. He began his career in urology at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) when he joined the residency program in 2002. He has been an Arab Board Certified Urologist since 2008. Following that he showed interest in andrology and especially male infertility. He finished the Andrology Fellowship program at HMC in 2012. In 2012, he also became a fellow of the Multidisciplinary Joint Committee of Sexual Medicine.

Since 2009, Dr Haitham has specialized in male infertility at Hamad General Hospital (HGH). HGH is the main governmental hospital in Qatar where the only specialized male infertility section and the main IVF Center in Doha are located. With his male infertility team, Dr Haitham has succeeded in mastering all male infertility domains, including advanced diagnostic techniques, medical and surgical treatment. Dr Haitham is an expert in microsurgical male infertility procedures including varicocelectomy, reconstructive surgery and testicular biopsy.

Dr Haitham is involved in the academic program in urology where he holds the position of Associate Program Director of the Urology Residency Program. He is also participating in a lot of research in male infertility, especially genetics of male infertility.
