Prof. Dr. Kader Karli Oguz
Dr. Kader Karli Oguz is a senior faculty of the Neuroradiology section in Hacettepe University, Ankara in Turkey. She is also affiliated with National Magnetic Resonance Research Center (UMRAM) in Bilkent University. Dr. Oguz completed her medical training and radiology residency in Hacettepe University and did her research fellowship on functional MRI and advanced MR imaging techniques in Johns Hopkins University in 2001.
Back in Turkey, she led FMRI studies on epilepsy, demyelinating diseases and dementia in Turkey. She became associate professor in 2005 and professor in 2011, has EDiNR and EDiPNR. Working in a university with specialized hospitals on Pediatrics, Oncology and Adults, she had a huge experience in pediatric neurology, neuro-oncology cases as well. She is currently executive board member of Turkish Neuroradiology Society (TSNR) and head of Turkish Pediatric Neuroradiology Group, which is a subcommittee of TSNR.
She has conducted Neuroradiology and Pediatric Neuroradiology meetings and courses. She has participated in many TUBITAK, European projects on imaging of epilepsy, autoimmune diseases, neurodegenerative and inherited metabolic diseases and brain tumours as a principle investigator or researcher.
Being an active member of radiology and neurology societies, she is also an author of over 200 articles published in SCI/SCI-E journals and over 20 book chapters focused on neuroimaging.
