Dr. Gautam L. Sharma has 20+ years of experience in managing micro and macro-level healthcare quality improvement programs. Has managed Strategic level Portfolios for government healthcare setups including Healthcare Administration, Operations, Risk management, and Quality Improvement.  Patient Safety Collaborative programs for national and international partners and public health improvement initiatives. 

He is a Ph.D., Postgraduate in Hospital Management, Doctor of Medicine, Postgraduate in Quality Improvement, and Health & Law, Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP®, PRINCE2 Practitioner®, CPHQ©, Improvement Advisor, Public Health Operations Management (JAICA-Japan), Improvement Coach, MS Power BI, ICDL certified Cyber Security, Team STEPPS 2.0 and Master Trainer for Maternal and Neonatal Mortality Review, Certified Hospital Preparedness for Disaster, Infection Control, and Methods of Medical Audit I.C.D-10 Coding. 

Has led the functionalizing of 163 First Referral Hospitals for a 62.7 million population and reduced Maternal and Infant Mortality Rates. Special officer for the H1N1 Pandemic, Liaison Officer for NABH Accreditation of government Healthcare facilities. Healthcare Operations & Risk management Administrator for tertiary care government Hospitals. In 2022 he successfully performed as Program Manager of the National Patient Safety Collaborative Program for HMC and Non-HMC facilities in Qatar.
