Nouf Al Talal is the Director of Inpatient Pharmacy and research department at Armed Forces Hospital, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She is an innovative healthcare leader with experience in variety of pharmacy practice settings where she oversight pharmacy operations, clinical service, formulary management, accreditations, and safety practices.
Nouf works collaboratively with health system leaders and clinical staff to define, design, and improve quality and medication safety initiatives. She has a passion for empowering others to enhance quality and medication safety efforts and enjoys collaborating with clinicians and sharing best practices through educational programs. She led many quality and safety projects for the hospital and received 2021 and 2022 awards for excellence in quality and safety projects at the Armed Forces Medical Services in Saudi Arabia.
Nouf earned her Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, doctor of pharmacy at the University of Purdue and master degree in clinical pharmacology at Aberdeen University, UK. In addition she is certified medication safety officer by ISMP/ASHP.
Dr. Al- Ansari is very passionate about health service in Qatar, and has an ambition for HMC in Qatar to be the best health system internationally. He miraculously does not allow his duties to take him away from patients and research. He continues his research in the form of publications and conducting animal labs and workshops and conferences. His special interests include teaching younger surgeons and mentoring them in their training.
