After a 23 year career in the UK National Health Service Paul moved to Qatar to join HMC in 2009. Over the past 14 years Paul has held senior management positions in Hamad General Hospital and the Heart Hospital. For the past 3 years Paul has been HMCs Executive Director for Major Incident Preparedness and Resilience and has played a key role in coordinating the Corporations response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Paul was the Chair of the Health Sector Major Incident Preparedness and Resilience Committee for the FIFA World Cup that was tasked with ensuring the systems readiness to manage a major incident leading up to and during the tournament.
