Dr. Shireen Suliman
Consultant
Dr. Shireen is an experienced internist with a passion for Medical Education and quality improvement. She is a Consultant at the Internal Medicine Department at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), a Clerkship Director and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine at Qatar University, and an Assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. Dr. Shireen received her Master’s degree in Education for Health Professions from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA in 2016. She is a faculty and coach at the Hamad Health Quality Institute at HMC in Qatar. Additionally, she is the Director of the Mentoring Training program at HMC. She is a faculty at the Masters in Health Professions Education at Qatar University. Her current research focuses on undergraduate and graduate medical education transition, trainees’ well-being, and an empowering environment for medical trainees that include them in designing their own curricula as part of her Ph.D. thesis in Health Professions Education at Maastricht University in The Netherlands, expected completion 2023.
