Kate Bramham trained at Oxford University and University College London. She is a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Renal Medicine, Division of Transplantation Immunology and Mucosal Biology, King's College London and Consultant Nephrologist at King’s College Hospital.  She runs a specialist renal-pregnancy service and is lead for the UK Renal Disease in Pregnancy study group. She has authored several original manuscripts and book chapters on renal disease and pregnancy. Her research interests include pathophysiology of superimposed pre-eclampsia and mechanisms of progression of renal disease in pregnancy.
