The Cuban Hospital provides a wide variety of laboratory testing, which guarantees that all testing necessary to understand what is going on in the body, physiologically and chemically, can be undertaken.
Our Laboratory Department functions around the clock to provide high quality diagnostic services to assist in appropriate patient care, as and when required. On average, the department deals with more than 1,500 samples and undertakes more than 10,700 tests each month. Laboratory medicine and pathology work closely with all clinical departments within the hospital.
The team works to ensure appropriate turnaround times for results and maintains a service level agreement with Hamad General Hospital that defines the operating requirements of the laboratory. The laboratory also offers services to both internal and external individuals, groups and institutions.
