PD Dr. Juliane Hoerner-Rieber is a senior consultant at the Department of Radiation Oncology of the University Hospital Heidelberg, Germany. She is a board-certified radiation oncologist with special expertise in the management of lung and breast cancer. PD Dr. Juliane Hoerner-Rieber earned her medical degree from Heidelberg University and obtained her doctorate at the Department of Pediatric Oncology of the German Cancer Research Center. During her studies, she was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation, while her postdoctoral research was supported by the “Rahel-Goitein-Straus-Program” and the “Olympia-Morata-Program” of the Medical Faculty Heidelberg. The main focus of her research is stereotactic body radiotherapy, MR-guided radiotherapy as well as novel radiation techniques and concepts in the treatment of breast and lung cancer patients.
