Dr. Michele Federico Pecoraro 

Dr. Michele Federico Pecoraro is an Italian neurosurgeon specializing in spinal surgery, with expertise in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pavia (2011) and completed his neurosurgery specialization at the University of Turin (2017).

Dr. Pecoraro completed spine fellowships from Columbia University, USA – Focus on degenerative cervical spine pathologies and from Liberec Regional Hospital, Czech Republic – Specialization in intraoperative imaging and navigation for cervical-thoracic transitions.

Currently, he is working as Spine Consultant in Casa di Cura La Madonnina (Milan) as well as Casa di Cura Anna e Sileno Rizzola (Venice). He is Head of the Robotic Spine Surgery Unit Humanitas Gavazzeni (Bergamo) – since January 2025.

He is specialized in treating degenerative, tumor, and traumatic spinal conditions and pioneering in robotic and minimally invasive spine surgery techniques.
