Ms. Mariem Sidenna is an Associate Genetic Counselor specialized in Medical Oncology. She has completed her clinical master's degree in genetic counseling from Qatar University with her master's thesis focusing on the prevalence and genotype phenotype correlation of Lynch syndrome in Qatar.
Ms. Mariam has been trained in multiple subspecialities of medical genetics with great focus on cancer genetics as her primary area of interest.
In 2021 Ms. Mariem joined the Genetics department at NCCCR hospital where she is working closely with patients with or at risk for hereditary cancer syndromes.
Besides her clinical experience, Ms. Mariem is heavily involved in training Qatar University Genetic counseling Master students.
Additionally, Ms. Mariem has immersed her efforts in research with multiple publications in the field. She has been interested in exploring hereditary metabolic conditions and colorectal cancer syndromes.
