Dr. François is a consultant in the Medical Oncology and Hematology Department at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research. Dr. Calaud obtained his bachelor’s in Medical Sciences from Damascus University, Syria, in 1996.
He undertook professional training in Paris, France, and the Gustave Roussy Institute at Cochin Hospital before coming to Qatar. He obtained his qualification in Medical Oncology in 2008.
Dr. Calaud was an assistant professor in the University Hospital of Cretell. He has a subspecialty in breast cancer.
Dr. Calaud also participates actively in many critical trials in France, as well as publishing extensively. He is a frequent speaker at many breast cancer conferences, both locally and internationally.
