Dr. Ibrahim Amer is an Associate Consultant in Colorectal Surgery at Hamad General Hospital, part of Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. He obtained his MBBS from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, after which he completed his General Surgery Residency. He subsequently achieved the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MRCS) and the Jordan Board in General Surgery in 2016.
Following his board certification, Dr. Amer completed a clinical fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery in Amman, Jordan. In 2019, he began subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery at Hamad Medical Corporation and later earned the European Board of Surgical Qualification (EBSQ) in Coloproctology.
Dr. Amer is also an active member of the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP), contributing to international collaboration and continued professional development in the field.
Currently, his clinical practice focuses on laparoscopic and robotic colorectal cancer surgery, as well as the management of benign colorectal diseases. He remains committed to advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques and providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
