Abdelrahman A. Fattah Abdel Aal

Dr. Abdelrahman A. Fattah Abdel Aal serves as a Consultant of General Surgery and Endocrine Neck (Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery) at Hamad Medical Cooperation (HMC), Doha, Qatar. 

He has been actively involved with educational activities aiming to advance minimally invasive and endocrine surgery. As Assistant Professor of Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, he has been actively involved in teaching their medical students rotating in Hamad General Hospital and residents at HMC as he is part of the core faculty in ACGMEI accredited General Surgery Residency Program. 

After completing a MB Bch, Masters degree and Doctorate from Al-Azhar University Medical School, he was appointed as Professor of General Surgery in Al-Azhar University Medical School Cairo, Egypt in 2009. He completed clinical fellowships of advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and GIT Endoscopy from Mannheim University Hospital, Heidelberg University, Germany between 2001 and 2003. Dr. Abdelrahman has many international published articles and presentations presented at international congresses such as EAES, SAGES and faculty with the organized committee in the SLS summit in Florida in 2017.
