Dr. Majid A Aladulla

Dr. Majid A Aladulla is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist and the Chairman of the Mental Health Services at Hamad Medical Corporation. He is a pioneer in the field of Psychiatry nationally and has introduced many innovative services and structures within psychiatry, improving standards of service delivery to develop a world-class mental health service in Qatar. He obtained his higher training in Psychiatry at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Institute of Psychiatry, London. Dr. Majid represents Qatar at both the regional GCC (Gulf Corporation Council) Committee for Mental Health and at international UN (United Nations) office for Drugs and Crime. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Director of Clerkship at Qatar University. Dr. Majid has widely published in peer-reviewed journals and his areas of interest include epidemiology of mental health disorders and their socio-demographic correlates in Qatar and the Middle East.
