Mostafa Elbaba
Dr. Elbaba M. is a Pediatric Nephrologist for 30 years. He graduated from Ain Shams University in Egypt since 1989 and joined Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in 2011. In HMC, he is the head of Pediatric Nephrology Specialty, Head of Pediatric Medical Education (CPD), Chairman of Pediatric Simulation, member of Pediatric Research Committee, core Faculty in the Pediatric Residency Program, and simulation Training lead of Qatar University Medical Student. Elbaba is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics in Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC)-Qatar. Elbaba is a Fellow in the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH)-UK. He is also a certified Medical Educator, with a master’s degree in Medical Education from University of Cincinnati in USA. Moreover, he is an internationally certified advanced simulation educator (CHSE-A) from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). Elbaba is an expert in the instructional design including e-learning. He is the owner, designer, and instructor of seven (7) active online courses in different pediatric educational disciplines. Internationally, he was the immediate past chair of the pediatric section in the international society for simulation in healthcare (SSH) & he is also a member of Advanced Certification in the SSH certification Council since 2019. He designed and conducted dozens of courses in Pediatric postgraduate exams and simulation. He has significant contributions in the international conferences through his research works, talks and posters. Finally, Elbaba is certified in many other non-medical disciplines, as well as a public writer, he published 9 books in Arabic language.
