Dr. Miral Hamed is an Associate Rheumatology Consultant at the Rheumatology Division, Hamad Medical Corporation.
She graduated from the faculty of medicine at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, and completed an Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at Hamad Medical Corporation.
Dr. Miral has been certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology from the Arab Board medical specialization. She is also MRCP certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom.
She has initiated and is involved in many research projects and is interested in connective tissue diseases, IgG-4 related disease, transitional care, and medical education.
