Dr. Shehab Mohamed is a consultant haematology at the National Center for Cancer Care & Research (NCCCR). He graduated medical school with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Gezira in Sudan. He subsequently completed his internal medicine residency and haematology fellowship training at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar.
He received further training at the Mayo Clinic and University of Tennessee - Memphis (UTHSC) in the USA and completed a leukemia fellowship at MD Anderson in 2021.
He is Arab Board certified in Internal Medicine and received certification from the Royal College of Physicians, London MRCP in 2015 and the European Hematology Association (EHA) in 2018.
Dr. Shehab is active in research and had several publications in blood journal. He is a reviewer for the American Journal of Care Reports.
