Prof. Anthony P. Sclafani, MD, FACS

Anthony P. Sclafani is an internationally recognized facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and academic leader with extensive experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head, and neck. He currently serves as Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and Director of Facial Plastic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and is affiliated with the Weill Cornell Medicine.

Prof. Sclafani completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and pursued fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Saint Louis University. Prior to joining Weill Cornell, he served as Surgeon Director and Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and directed Facial Plastic Surgery for the Mount Sinai Health System.

A leader in both clinical innovation and education, Prof. Sclafani has authored and edited several seminal textbooks and references in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, including Total Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Rhinoplasty: The Experts’ Reference, and Surgical Atlas of Facial Plastic Surgery. He has received numerous national awards for teaching and research, including the Ira Tresley Award (twice) and the Sir John Delf Gillies Award from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

With a career dedicated to advancing evidence-based, artistic, and patient-centered facial surgery, Prof. Sclafani brings exceptional expertise in rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, and reconstructive techniques.
