Mr. Tarik Sami Abulkhair, serving as a Trauma Registrar and Acting Trauma Service Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Coordinator since 2017, is an esteemed professional in the field of trauma care. With a focus on enhancing patient care quality, he plays a pivotal role at Hamad Medical Corporation, overseeing clinical processes and outcomes to uphold the highest standards of care. His journey in trauma care has spanned various roles, including critical care nursing and education.
Believing in lifelong education, Mr. Tarik obtained high academic qualifications. In 2023, he secured the American Board Certification for Specialists in Trauma Registry and earned a Master of Public Health and Health Promotion from Warwick University, UK. Earlier, he acquired American Board certifications in patient safety (2016) and healthcare quality (2014), building upon his foundational bachelor's degree in Nursing from Cairo University, Egypt, obtained in 2008.
Tarik's contributions to the field are multifaceted. He has been instrumental in accrediting the Trauma Department at Hamad Medical Corporation with Accreditation Canada International.
