Ms. Nazik Mohamed El Hag is a strong, committed and dedicated leader in the field of nursing education, she started her nursing career on 2003 as staff nurse in Umm Al Quwain Hospital, She led infection control activities. She was the first initiator interprofessional education in UAQ Hospital. She did finish her course of Master in Leadership in Health Professional Education from University of Sharjah on 2019 .
She has the capabilities to manage and inspire nurses towards the professional development activities. She received the best nurse award in Awarded in 2010 nurses day celebration, and best educational event organizer in 2007, also Awarded as a collaborative nurse in 2017 and she fulfil employee excellence requirements in 2015. She got certification as a training consultant from France and Switzerland in 2020. Currently she is participating in leading research and professional development activities in UAQ hospital. She introduces formative peer assessment in evaluation of nurse’s competencies .
She presented the blended education during pandemic in the international congress of Nursing 2021. First one who initiated in house simulation unit within EHS facilities to upskill critical care skills of nurses during the pandemic. As a clinical resource nurse and education specialist she is showing great skills in coaching, mentoring and training the staff nurses in order to move them through nursing levels and in different situations.
