- Chairman of the Emirati Board of Rheumatology (Pediatric and Adult), member of the Emirates Board of Internal Medicine, examiner for the Arab Board of Internal Medicine, and faculty of the Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs in Al Ain.
- Graduated from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University.
- Completed post-graduate residency training at the University of Toronto in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Spondyloarthritis Fellowship.
- Holds multiple board certifications (American and Canadian Boards in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Clinician Investigator Board, Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Program, Clinical Densitometry).
- Established the accredited SLE Clinic in the Gulf at Al Ain Hospital, which received the first American accreditation via Joint Commission International (JCI) outside the USA.
- Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR), and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC).
