Dr. Radja M. Badji
Genomics Operations Manager at Qatar Genome Program
Dr. Radja Badji is the genomics operations manager at Qatar Genome Program (QGP). She joined the organization in 2017 and leads efforts to translate genomic research into clinical application as it relates to precision medicine. She has also been playing a central role in development of the Qatari gene chip (Q-chip).
Dr. Badji has more than 15 years of international experience working closely with clinicians and scientists in academia and hospitals in the field of biomedical informatics. She holds a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in clinical informatics from the University of Joseph Fourier in France, and a Master of Public Health degree from Lille University in France, as well as a computer engineering degree from the University of Sciences and Technology of Hadj Lakhdar in Algeria. Before joining QGP, Dr. Badji was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center of Medical Informatics in Lille, as well as served as a postdoctoral fellow at Sidra Medical and Research Center in Qatar.
