4th Perioperative Nursing Symposium will combine celebratory as well educational elements relevant for all perioperative nurses to commemorate the Annual Perioperative Nurses Week. It is likely to be the largest gathering of Perioperative healthcare professionals across Qatar
The scientific planning committee is inviting you to submit your abstract of original research and quality improvement studies to be considered for poster or oral presentation.

Clinical Practice
This sub-theme invites abstract submission that explores and advances critical aspects of clinical excellence in the surgical environment.
- Innovative surgical techniques, approaches and technologies that enhance clinical practice in the operating room.
- Strategies, tools and procedures that optimizes nursing care across all phases.
- Best practices that enhance collaboration and communication among surgical teams.
- Initiatives, protocols and outcomes in maintaining a safe surgical environment, enhancing patient experience and continually improving quality of care delivered for surgical patients.
Leadership
This sub-theme welcomes abstracts that drive innovation, inspire teams, and influence the delivery of patient-centered care by exploring various facets of leadership within perioperative nursing
Submissions must include a program, process, new service, or tools which relates to the four basic management functions: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling.
- New leadership model in transforming perioperative nursing practice and its impact on patient outcomes Initiatives that nurture the next generation of perioperative nursing leaders.
- Strategies to lead effective surgical teams and promote teamwork in perioperative practice Adaptive leadership in times of rapidly changing and unpredictable circumstances.
