Dr. Mohammed Salem is a Senior Consultant at Hamad Medical Corporation. In addition to his roles as Medical Director and CEO for the National Centre for Cancer Care and Research, Surgical Oncology Chair, and Cancer Services,
He also chairs the National Clinical Advisory Group for Thyroid Cancers. previous corporate senior leadership roles include Managing Director and Departmental Chair of Accident and Emergency, Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Medical Education, and the Treatment Abroad Committee. He was also the Qatar Association's President and a Qatar Medical Board member.
Dr. Mohammed Salem is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow. He has undertaken examiner roles for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Arab Board.
