The 2-year fellowship program provides clinical exposure to a broad spectrum of painful conditions. The program provides training in interventional pain management, Acute Pain and chronic pain management, as well as palliative care for cancer patients.

Message from the Program Director

We are excited to announce the vacancy of one post for fellowship in Pain management. The appointed fellow will be a part of the Pain section of Anesthesia department.
The fellowship would offer an opportunity for eligible candidate to learn in a truly world class facility and benefit from training by well qualified faculty. Our facilities provide training and learning in multidisciplinary teams that include physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and technicians. The fellow would get exposure to management of various pain conditions including but not limited to musculoskeletal, neuropathic, cancer and complex regional pain syndrome. To gain training in these different aspects of pain, the fellow will be rotating to several facilities of Hamad Medical Corporation. The training will also include interventional procedures using both fluoroscopy and ultrasound. Our Pain section boasts of faculty that has qualifications from reputed centers across the world. The training will be based on the ACGME criteria for Pain Fellowship.
The training during fellowship will prepare the candidate to be a competent and efficient consultant in Pain and Anesthesia.
