Dr. Shereen Elazzazy, PhD, PharmD, MBA, BSc Pharm, NLP PGDip, RPH
Dr. Shereen Elazzazy is an Asst. Director of Pharmacy & Head of Clinical Services in the National Center for Cancer Care & Research (NCCCR), Qatar. She is a WHO consultant (Cancer expert). Additionally, she received her BScPharm from Egypt, then two doctor degrees, a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Purdue University, USA in 2011, and a PhD in Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy Practice from Kingston University, UK in 2023. She had her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Spain 2021, and a Diploma of Specialization in Coaching and NLP from Spain in 2021. She completed several certifications from Harvard University, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), University of Southern Indiana, the University of Georgia, ACCP, ASPEN, INSEAD France, BMJ Research, University of California San Francisco (UCSF), Purdue university and others.
Dr. Shereen she is a Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy, Qatar University, and an adjunct faculty since 2011. Furthermore, she is a Clinical Sponsor of PharmD program, University of Colorado, USA, Instructor for BMJ clinical trials, and a local mentor for Pharmacy School and Queen’s University, UK. She has more than 68 peer-reviewed publications and 120 abstracts presented in national, regional and international events. She is also an Editor/ Editorial Board member in 13 peer reviewed journals and a peer reviewer in eight international journals.
Dr. Shereen has extensive experience in hospital, clinical, and industrial pharmacy, healthcare quality, clinical trials and clinical research, academic teaching, education and mentorship, healthcare quality, business development and business management, leadership and management, strategic planning, and Joint Commission accreditation and certification. Her areas of expertise are mainly oncology, parenteral nutrition, palliative care, hematology, precision medicine, VTE, clinical trials, publication & editing, business management, and pharmacy practice. She received many awards and recognition on national and international levels and was endorsed by the UNESCO Qatar.
