Dr. Michael J. LaRiviere is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he treats pediatric patients at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and adult patients with hematologic malignancies at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. LaRiviere leads research programs in translational pediatric and hematologic radiation oncology, including preclinical work with FLASH radiotherapy and clinical trials to understand the interactions between immunotherapy and radiation, and chimeric antigen T-cell (CART) therapy and radiation. He is a member of the Children's Oncology Group (COG), International Society of Paediatric Oncology (Société Internationale d'Oncologie Pédiatrique - SIOP), Paediatric Radiation Oncology Society (PROS), International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group (ILROG), and University of Pennsylvania Radiation Oncology Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Committee.
