Geri Amori, PhD, ARM, DFASHRM, CPHRM

Geri Amori, PhD, ARM, DFASHRM, CPHRM has more than 35 years’ experience in healthcare Risk Management, nine years in behavioral health, and 40 years as an educator. She is Principal of Communicating Healthcare through which she works to bring understanding and application of our uniquely human communication psychology to individuals and organizations. 

Geri served Coverys/Med-IQ for 15 years and 18 years with the University of Vermont. Best known for her work with the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, Geri is a Distinguished Fellow, Faculty Emeritus, and Past President of the Society.

Holding a PhD in counselor education from UF, and a master’s in counseling and human systems from FSU, Geri is nationally recognized for her work in furthering knowledge and awareness of communication in healthcare.
