The Qatar International Psychiatry and Mental Health Conference organized by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), began in 2013. It has since grown to become one of the most prominent events in the region for mental health professionals, offering a platform for psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health workers to discuss advancements in mental health care, research, and innovations.
The conference usually attracts a diverse range of international speakers and participants, promoting collaborative efforts to enhance psychiatric care in Qatar and the broader Middle East region.
The most recent Qatar International Mental Health Conference was the 9th edition which took place from May 25 to May 27 2023. This event brought together over 1000 participants both in person and online and featured more than 50 speakers.
