Wound Care Nurse
Ms. Princy John, RN, BSN, works as a Graduate Registered Nurse in Wound Care Service, HMC. She has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. She has eight years of experience in Medical and Surgical Units and from last couple of years, pursued her career as a Wound Care Nurse as she was enticed with the practice of wound care.
She was elected as a Co-Chair of the Unit Base Council in Wound Care Service, Ambulatory Care Services, HGH. She also serves as an Education Link Nurse and is a member of RN-NDNQI. She is the Unit Competency and POCT Validator and acts as a mentor for newly joined staff. She is an Advanced Super User for CIS Implementation and served as a member of many committees including, the Nursing Informatics Sub-Committee and Ambulatory Care Services. She has also hosted the HGH International Nurses Day celebrations in 2017. She has previously been involved as an Organizing Committee member for Qatar First International Wound Management Conference 2016.
