Star of Excellence: Educational Series on Building Therapeutic Nurse-Client Relationship
An educational program was developed to equip nurses with skills that can help cope with difficult patients that have suffered from heightened emotional, physical and psychological stress. This program has contributed directly to increases in patient satisfaction at Rumailah Hospital.
Rising Star: Medical Professionalism at Workplace
This project was initiated in March of 2012 to improve professional behaviors among medical staff, targeting resident trainees to meet their professional competency as per the standards set forth by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
Glowing Star: K2 Fetal Monitoring Training Program
The aim of the project was to train all obstetricians and nurses at Women’s Hospital within one year with an internationally recognized K2 fetal heart training program. With 96% of staff having received the training, knowledge related to fetal heart monitoring has increased, leading to improved crisis management.
