The implementation of ICD-10-AM, or international statistical classification of disease, offers a wide range of important reports about clinical activity which can be used to improve quality and patient safety. It also fulfills the initial operational requirements for the new National Health Insurance Scheme.
Rising Star: National Diabetic Centre in HMC
The National Diabetic Centre began development at HMC in 2010 in order to provide comprehensive patient centered care for diabetes patients. The center aims to improve diabetes screening, management, health promotion and disease prevention in a purpose built environment.
