Dr. Biju Kurian
Senior Consultant, Anesthesia
Dr Biju Kurian is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anesthetists. He completed his postgraduate training in Anesthesia in the West Midlands Deanery in the UK and worked as a consultant in Obstetric Anesthesia at a busy obstetric unit in Birmingham, UK. In Qatar, he worked as the Deputy Head of Obstetric Anesthesia in WWRC for eight years. His interest outside of Obstetric Anesthesia lie in Medical Education, where he is the site director for the Anesthesia Clerkship for the medical students at Weil Cornell Medical School-Qatar. He developed his interest in Patient Blood Management through his role as Chairman of the Corporate Transfusion Committee in Hamad Medical Corporation.
