Jonathan Boxshall, Institute of Biomedical Science, United Kingdom
Jonathan Boxshall is the Pathology Quality Manager and Deputy Clinical Pathology Lead at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. His primary role is the support of the Pathology service to develop and implement change to improve the quality management systems to ensure continued accreditation to ISO 15189:2022 as well as compliance with regulatory standards.
Jonathan is a technical Assessor for UKAS in Haematology and Blood transfusion and visits UK sites supporting improvement and ensuring compliance with ISO 15189:2022 standard.
Jonathan sits on the specialist advisory panel for quality in the IBMS and is a lead module tutor in the IBMS certificate of expert practice in Quality Management.
Previously Jonathan was a Senior Biomedical Scientist in Haematology and Blood Transfusion at Northumbria supporting laboratory services from a centralised Blood Transfusion laboratory.
Jonathan is a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science.
