Professor of Adult health/Women’s Health and Pre-clinical Affairs at the College of Nursing, Qatar University. Obtained her PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Several distinguished scholar’s awards from Chicago, Fulbright Scholar to New Jersey, Transcultural Nursing Society Fellow and Scholar, Outstanding Alumni Award from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Associate Editor for Journal of Transcultural Nursing. Member of the Research and Scholarship Advisory Council of Sigma Theta Tau International, USA. Assumed several management positions as Assistant Deans, Associate Dean, Head of Departments, and Unit Chairperson in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Recognized as one of the Sigma Europe Region 100 nurses acknowledged for their achievement who have contributed to the nursing profession in education, practice, and research over the last 100 years in recognition of the Sigma centenary year 2022-23. An invited keynote speaker to several international conferences and panels.
