Hilde Berner Hammer, PhD
Professor Hammer is a senior consultant, PhD, at the Department of Rheumatology - Diakonhjemmet Hospital, Oslo, Norway. His main US interest is in musculoskeletal diseases.
Professor Hammer’s scientific work includes US scoring of synovitis in RA (rheumatoid arthritis) patients, general US studies of RA, SpA (spondyloarthritis) and gout patients. Currently, Professor Hammer remains in charge of the US education of rheumatologists in Norway. He is a member of the EULAR faculty of US courses, member of the EULAR imaging group, as well as a member of several OMERACT groups in the US.
Professor Hammer participated as a faculty member and taught numerous US courses around the world during the last ten years.
