Al Shafallah Center for Persons with Disability
In harmony with the mission of Qatar Social Foundation For Social Work, we provide model services for persons with mental disability and autism in the State of Qatar which includes education, rehabilitation, societal support for achieving all their daily life rights and integrate them in Qatari society.

- Conceptualised and implementation of institutional short, medium and long-term strategy and KPI matrix for performance management targets
- Supervise affiliated departments to ensure provision of therapeutic and preventive health services are optimally delivered to members with developmental disabilities
- Stakeholder management by closely collaborating with key internal/ external focal points towards the execution of a national strategy
- Cross-departmental budget and resource oversight and allocation to facilitate health services and interventions
- Administrative excellence including building clinical evaluation for disability/diagnosis, building bespoke treatment plans, rehabilitation and educational management, family and patient counselling, etc.
- As a practicing medical professional, I am actively involved in research and academic research and academic publications
Working with disability aspects:
- Member in National strategy for autism committee in Qatar.
- Member in National strategy for disability committee in Qatar.
- Research interests in autism (3 papers published).
- Focal point of Harvard project for the inclusive evaluation of Shafallah practice of disability by establishing a right-based approach to care for people of disability.
- Established contact and exchange of experts with many important world NGOs, eg. UNICEF.
