Mr. Ahmed Makhlouf has over 19 years of experience in reputable healthcare facilities. Currently, he is the Head of Pharmacy Quality, Informatics, Business Intelligence, and Research, in Ambulance Service (AS), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Doha, Qatar. He has been effectively leading various pharmacy-related technological, and research projects. He is also one of HMC policymakers, a quality auditor, and a peer reviewer for HMC Medical Research Center (MRC). He is one of the contributors to shaping business strategies and service design in AS.
Mr. Ahmed is interested in many research areas including health policy, new service design and evaluation, role of informatics and technology in improving business outcomes, clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice, extended pharmacy roles, pharmaco-economics, pharmacist-led services, education, interprofessional education.
