Star of Excellence: HMC/Sick Kids Early Intervention Program
The program integrates rehab services for sick children from age 0-3 years, into a seamless program that's family-centered, child-focused, trans-disciplinary, holistic and play-based. It is the first of its kind in Qatar as it involves the family all throughout the child's journey. The program has been very effective as the delivery of care is multi-dimensional, helping the team reach their full capacity of 60 clients per week.
Rising Star: Gynecologic Oncology Multidisciplinary team
The Gynecologic Oncology Multidisciplinary team developed a clear pathway for the management of women with gynecological cancer or suspected cancer, offering timely treatment that aligns with evidence-based guidelines with minimal inconvenience to the patient. Patients now receive coordinated care across different facilities leading to better outcomes.
