Dr. Ashraf Ahmed Fawzy
Dr. Ashraf graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo and completed advanced postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His qualifications include the Arab Board in Internal Medicine, MRCP from the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the United Kingdom, completion of an ACGME-I accredited Nephrology Fellowship at Hamad General Hospital, and the European Specialty in Nephrology certification.
He joined Hamad General Hospital early in his career and has been a core member of the nephrology service. He is currently the Lead of the Peritoneal Dialysis Program, where he provides clinical leadership and leads service development and quality improvement initiatives.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Ashraf has a strong academic and research profile, with numerous publications spanning basic science, dialysis, and clinical nephrology, reflecting his commitment to advancing evidence-based kidney care.
