Dr Amr Nimer is neurosurgeon who specialised in Hannover and Mainz, Germany. He holds a medical degree from the University of Göttingen, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Oxford.
He is furthermore a researcher at the Brain & Behaviour Lab at Imperial College London, funded by UKRI (United Kingdom Research and Innovation).
His neurosurgical research focused on the use of emerging technologies to improve precision in neurosurgery, and on neurosurgical education and training.
Dr Nimer works on the utilisation of data-driven Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning methods to investigate expertise and manual dexterity in neurosurgical operations.
His research focuses on understanding and improving precision and economy of movement in complex brain and spine operations.
