Dr. Rasha Al Anany, Director of Pharmacy in Al Wakra Hospital and the head of Hamad medical Corporation Office for Pharmacy Continuing Professional Development, accredited by both Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) and American Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
She is also the Director of Post Graduate Year 1 HMC Pharmacy Residency Program which is accredited by American Society of Healthcare Pharmacists (ASHP).
Dr. Rasha received her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2000, then she received Post Graduate Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Purdue University College of Pharmacy, Indiana, USA in 2011 to become the first Qatari to receive a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in the state of Qatar.
Dr. Rasha is actively involved in advancing pharmacy practice in Qatar, through working on implementation and development of contemporary practice models in addition to empowering pharmacists on a national level. She is involved in development of Pharmacy structure, career pathway and development of Clinical Pharmacists roles across the corporation. Dr. Rasha is HMC's pharmacy representative in Pharmacy & Allied Health Licensing and Credentialing Committee.
Dr. Rasha is continuously collaborating with Qatar University, College of Pharmacy for students and graduates' professional development.
