Dr. Sumaya AlYafei has been working in Hamad Medical Corporation since 2005. She is a visionary leader in pharmacy and healthcare with a wealth of expertise and qualifications, including a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University, certified as an anticoagulation care provider and armed with management diploma certification.
Dr. Sumaya as the Director of Pharmacy for Heart Hospital and Head of HMC Pharmacy Informatics, combines her clinical knowledge with innovative technology to revolutionize pharmaceutical services and has contributed to the field of pharmacy with several publications in international medical journals.
She is also an internship preceptor for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at the College of Pharmacy and lecturer for MSc Pharmacy students in Qatar University.
